This ENH924-AUT device is a powerful, high-performance Fast Ethernet switch, with all 24 ports capable of 10 or 100Mbps auto-negotiation operation (NWay), meaning that the switch could automatically negotiate with the connected partners on the network speed and duplex mode (Full duplex or Half duplex). This device, in fact, is an ideal solution for micro-segmenting large networks into smaller, connected subnets for better performance efficiency, thus enabling bandwidth demanding multimedia and imaging applications to operate on workstations. Moreover, the 10/100Mbps auto-sensing ability provides an easy way to migrate 10Mbps to 100Mbps network with no pain. The switch supports the rich diagnostic LEDs on the front-panel for providing the operating status and configuration of individual port and whole system. Plug and play is the most important feature of the overall system design, as users just need to connect the power cord, turn on the system and it will configure itself to work with all kinds of network protocols.
